Service Update:

Shred-it is continuing normal operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are dedicated to keeping your information secure by delivering our services safely.

We recognize many of our customers have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and are in the process of reopening and resuming normal operations.

For your convenience, if you postponed your service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be resuming your regularly scheduled service on the date you provided. You will be receiving an e-mail communication in advance of the first date of service to the contact on file.

To resume regularly scheduled service, please contact Shred-it’s Customer Experience team at 1.800.697.4733.

Service will resume after the date provided at the time that service was postponed. If you would like to confirm the date that your service will resume or resume service sooner, please contact Shred-it’s Customer Experience team at 1.800.697.4733.

Prior to resuming service, you will receive an e-mail notification to the contact on file. If you would like to update the e-mail on file, please contact Shred-it’s Customer Experience team at 1.800.697.4733 or log in to your customer account.

We are prioritizing the safety of both customers and employees during the coronavirus outbreak. We have implemented standard operating processes that include, but are not limited to:

  • Executing a daily cleaning program for all service vehicles, plants, and offices that includes interior and exterior contact surfaces;
  • Making paper towels, disinfectant, disposable gloves available to drivers and educating staff on proper use;
  • Ensuring drivers are assigned the same vehicle every day, where feasible;
  • Activating an escalation process if staff suspects exposure to COVID-19; and
  • Implementing a work from home policy for employees whose role makes it feasible.
