Start your New Year fresh by letting us shred the worst of 2017.
Join us in New York City for the 11th Annual Good Riddance Day. Watch first-hand as hundreds of participants shred their most forgettable and embarrassing memories and memorabilia from 2017 and beyond.
Whether its bad class pictures or income tax forms from the 1970s, some things are better when they’re gone and Shred-it’©s on-site shredding truck makes sure bad memories are gone for good.
The annual event takes place on December 28, 2017 in New York City’s Times Square and you could be there as part of the event.
About Good Riddance Day:
"Good Riddance Day was inspired by a Latin American tradition in which New Year’s revelers put artifacts or bad memories from the previous year into dolls and set them on fire,” said Tim Tompkins, President of the Times Square Alliance. “Here in Times Square, we might not be starting a bonfire, but we do encourage all New Yorkers and visitors alike to join us in the shredding of forgettable memories from this year."
