Despite Risks, Employee Training on Information Security Is Inadequate
Twenty-four percent of C-suite executives (C-suites) and 54% of small business owners (SBOs) reported having no regular training on information security procedures or policies. With one of the most common causes of data breaches being employee error, providing training that keeps employees informed about data security policies is critical to lowering organizational risk.
Despite the risks, many businesses haven’t prioritized employee training on policies for the protection of confidential paper documents.
