The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) & You

New data protection legislation, the EU GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), is due to come into force in in May 2018. Developed to streamline existing EU data protection laws and increase protection for personal data of EU citizens, the new legislation will affect organizations on a global scale. Any organization collecting or handling the personal data of EU citizens will need to comply, regardless of whether it is based within the EU or outside it.
