PostNet partners with Shred-it to provide industry-leading document destruction business solutions

RICHMOND HILL, ON – October 28, 2009 – PostNet, the Ultimate Business Support Centre, has partnered with Shred-it to deliver secure document destruction solutions. Under this partnership, PostNet stores across Canada will be outfitted with secure Shred-it shredding consoles. PostNet customers will be able to drop off their private documents to be safely and conveniently shredded on site to reduce the risk of identity theft and security breaches.

According to the Identity Theft Resource Center's 2008 Breach report, data breaches rose dramatically in 2008, representing an increase of 47 per cent over the previous year's total.
