Greg will be forever missed. I've always believed in having mentors - in turning to other entrepreneurs and leaders for advice and guidance. No one mentor taught me more or left as much of a lasting impact on me - and the growth of my business - as did Greg. 'Never, ever, ever compromise on the quality of people you bring into your organization.' Greg was a first class leader who truely lived what he preached. His advice helped lay a foundation in my company that I will always cherish. Greg also taught me the importance of helping others -- Whenever I had a question, Greg was there to lend a hand. My heart and prayers go out to Greg's family and his extended family at Shred-It. I know that Greg's passion and love for growth and for taking care of his people will forever live on.
Thank you Greg for the great difference you have made in this world,
With love.

I worked for a smaller shredding company in the early 90's that Shred-it was interested in buying. I had the chance to meet Greg and was impressed with the obvious passion he had for his business. Mr Brophy was a huge person with an ear for anyone - anytime. I did not work for him (Shred-It) long, but was honored to talk to and meet the MAN.
