  • Vincent R. De Palma

    President and Chief Executive Officer

    Vince joined Shred-it in August 2009, bringing over 25 years of executive experience to the company. He became well acquainted with business to business services in his past roles as President of Pitney Bowes Management Services, and as President of Automatic Data Processing (ADP) Benefit Services. Vince has also held senior management positions at Petroleum Heat & Power Company and McKinsey & Company.

    Vince currently sits on the board of directors of the Fleetmatics Group PLC (NYSE: FLTX). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Lafayette College and his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

  • Karen Carnahan

    Chief Operating Officer

    Karen joined Shred-it in May 2014 as Chief Operating Officer when Cintas Corporation completed its transaction to combine with Shred-it.  During her previous 35 years at Cintas, Karen held the positions of Vice President and Treasurer, and Vice President of Corporate Development (Mergers and Acquisitions).   In 2008, Karen assumed the role of President & COO of the Document Management Division of Cintas.

    Karen resides in West Chester, Ohio and has a passion and commitment for philanthropy in the local community.  She and her family are proud to be a Founding Family of the Community Foundation of West Chester / Liberty, (CFWCL) which seeks to carry on the works of charitable giving and improve the quality of life in the West Chester / Liberty area.  Karen was also a founding member of the Women’s Giving Circle of the CFWCL.  Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University (Columbus, Ohio).

  • Robert Guice

    Executive Vice President, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa)

    Robert joined Shred-it in 2004. Robert is responsible for overseeing Shred-it's sales, services and operations in the European and Middle Eastern markets, which include 36 branches in seven European countries and five branches in the Far East, Middle East and Africa region. Since joining Shred-it, the organization’s EMEA operations have grown significantly from an initial base of 16 corporately operated Branches to the current total of 41 branches.

    Prior to joining Shred-it, Robert worked as Sales and Marketing Director for the UK business of an international records and information management company, and prior to this, worked in the information technology sector in sales leadership roles in Europe and Africa.
     

  • Brenda Abramovich

    EVP Human Resources

    Brenda joined Shred-it in May 2014 as Executive Vice President of Human Resources when Cintas Corporation completed its transaction to combine with Shred-it. As Executive Vice President of HR, Brenda is charged with leading the Human Capital integration for the combined companies. For the past 13 years she has held various HR leadership positions in Cintas Corporate HR and Field HR. Her most recent position was Director of Employment, Recruiting, Compliance and Labor Relations. 

    Prior to her tenure at Cintas, Brenda spent 17 years with Chiquita Brands International and John Morrell & Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Chiquita, in progressive HR leadership positions in Benefits, Compensation and as Director of HR for the U.S. Brenda is a graduate of Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa.

  • Bruce Andrew

    EVP Marketing & Customer Experience

    Bruce joined Shred-it in April 2010 and is the company’s Executive Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience. Bruce oversees Global Marketing efforts including Marketing, Advertising, Promotion, Public Relations and Brand Management – Customer Acquisition and Retention programs. He is also responsible for providing oversight on Customer Experience – ensuring Shred-it’s Value Proposition comes to life with customers.

    Bruce brings over 35 years of Sales and Marketing experience in direct sell organizations – both in CPG and B2B arenas. Bruce is a Certified Sales Professional (CSP) and a certified Examiner for the Canadian Professional Sales Association, as well as a past member of the Board of Directors for NAID – Global Board. He holds an MBA from the University of Guelph (Ontario, Canada).

  • Edward Delamater

    Executive Vice President, Eastern US

    Ed joined Shred-it in May 2014 as Executive Vice President, Eastern US when Cintas Corporation’s Document Management Division completed its transaction to merge with Shred-it.  During his 14 year tenure with Cintas, Ed held various senior operational positions including General Manager and Regional Business Director.  At the time of the merger, Ed was the Vice President of all Document Management Operations in the US and Canada.

    Prior to joining Shred-it and Cintas, Ed held various sales roles at Nalco Chemical Company and is also a former US Navy submarine officer and nuclear power plant operator.  Ed earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York Maritime College; Third Assistant Engineers license US Coast Guard and completed graduate level courses in Nuclear Engineering at the Naval Officer Nuclear Power School.  Ed, his wife and two sons reside in New Hampshire.

  • Brenda Frank

    General Counsel and Executive Vice President, Human Resources & Franchise Relations

    Brenda joined Shred-it in February 2010. Brenda is an accomplished senior executive and attorney with a proven track record of business success in HR and legal environments. As General Counsel, she provides corporate governance and legal service for all company initiatives, as well as acting as Corporate Secretary to the Board of Directors. In addition, Brenda is accountable for setting the strategic direction for all Human Resources functions, as well as being responsible for Shred-it’s Franchise System.

    Prior to joining Shred-it, Brenda held numerous executive and legal roles in various North American and global organizations, including: ITOCHU International Inc., Pitney Bowes Inc., 2Bridge Software, and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Brenda is originally from New York, and is married with 3 children.
     

  • Dan Galbraith

    Executive Vice President, Sales

    Dan joined Shred-it in May 2014 as EVP of Sales when Cintas Corporation completed its transaction to combine with Shred-it.  Dan is responsible for overseeing Shred-it's Sales Organization including National Accounts and Sales Strategy for all field sales roles.  During his previous 11 years at Cintas Corporation, Dan held various strategic positions in both Sales and Operations including Regional Business Director – Southeast Region and most recently, as the Vice President of Sales – North America for the Document Management Division. 

    Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government with an Economics Minor from Cornell University (Ithaca, NY).  He resides in Tampa, Florida with his wife and daughter.

  • Gary Gonsalves

    Executive Vice President US West, US Central and US Southeast

    Gary joined Shred-it in January 2011. Gary is a driven executive leader with over twenty years of experience in helping organizations achieve superior top and bottom line results. In his role, Gary is responsible for overseeing Shred-it's sales, services and operations in the US West, US Central and US Southeast markets. Gary most recently held the position of Executive Vice President Sales, North America.

    Prior to joining Shred-it, Gary was the Senior Vice President of Sales with Corporate Express. His tenure at Corporate Express spanned 15 years in various strategic roles including Region President and Division President. Gary earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University. He and his family reside in Boulder Colorado and enjoy all that this part of the world has to offer.
     

  • Shawn Lanthier

    Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Integration

    Shawn joined Shred-it in August 2010 as VP, Strategy & Corporate Development responsible for Shred-it’s corporate development group, including its global acquisition program and various strategic projects.  Since August 2010, Shred-it has completed 23 acquisitions throughout the US, Canada, UK, Republic of Ireland, Singapore and South Africa. When Shred-it completed its transaction to merge with Cintas Corporation’s document shredding business, Shawn was promoted to the role of EVP, Corporate Strategy & Integration, primarily responsible for leading the integration of the two respective businesses.

    Prior to joining Shred-it, Shawn was Executive Director, Investment Banking at CIBC World Markets within the Diversified Industries group covering the retail, consumer products, automotive and industrial verticals. Prior to CIBC, Shawn held several roles within industry, private equity, and investment banking. Shawn is from Toronto and is married with 3 children.

  • Colette Raymond

    Executive Vice President, Canada / US North & Northwest & SMS

    Colette joined Shred-it in 2000 as General Manager, Montreal. During the last fourteen years she has held positions of increasing responsibility including Regional Manager, Eastern Canada; and was our first expatriated Regional Manager in France. Colette most recently held the position of Executive Vice President Operations, North America. She is currently responsible for overseeing Shred-it's sales, services and operations in Canada and the US North and Northwest, as well as Shred-it’s Manufacturing Division, SMS.

    Prior to joining Shred-it, Colette served as Director of Operations for Loomis Armored Car Ltd., a secure transportation and cash management company, for 10 years. She began her career as Manager at the Toronto Dominion Bank head office, a leading Canadian financial institution. Colette resides in Rigaud, Qu├ębec located near the Ottawa River with her husband, and their son and daughter.
     

  • Jim Rudyk

    Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President

    Jim joined Shred-it in November 2009. Jim brings over 20 years of executive experience to the company. Prior to joining Shred-it, Jim held numerous executive roles in various mid to large sized growth orientated organizations, including Canada Cartage Systems, Dynamic Tire Corporation and Dell Canada Inc. Jim is an accomplished senior executive with a proven track record of business success in demanding and fast-paced environments, with extensive experience in Financial Reporting and Management, Operational Management and M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) Execution. He is currently responsible for setting the financial direction for the company as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President.

    Jim received his Masters of Accounting from the University of Waterloo and also has a CA designation. He is married with 2 daughters, and is an athletic enthusiast.
