Mr. Johannsen: I have been using Shred-it for about a year, ever since we changed our medical records from paper charts to electronic charts. All paper coming into our office, which is a high volume, needs to be shredded for HIPAA compliance. My most favorite aspect of your company, is that they shred on site, right here on our premises. Not all companies do that, some say they do, but actually are moving the records to another place for shredding, which leaves me with another layer of possible non-compliance or risk of records being mishandled. I like to be able to see where our records go--from my office to your truck, nothing in between. Secondly, the staff that comes into the office, are polite, quiet with their work, professional, and efficient. Your job is much easier, because so many of these good qualities are already in place.

I just wanted to take a minute to let you know about one of your employees that I have had the pleasure of having him on my route. His name is Jesse Bertrand, Jesse has always been very personable yet mindful to always retain a professional demeanor. This is very appreciated as sometimes there is allot going on when he comes through the buildings to empty the bins. I believe great customer service is the key to any successful business. I must say you have quite a nice crew working for you. Our regular guy, Matt, is super nice, very polite, and always pleasant. Although they are in and out quickly, he says hello and makes small conversation so as to make us feel like we’re not just a routine stop but almost as an effort to build a relationship with us. It’s nice.
